I’m a freelance writer and editor with over 20 years’ experience. My career began as BBC researcher at Broadcasting House in central London where I gathered information for programme makers and wrote daily news briefs for senior management.

I then spent 12 years working in the UK media monitoring industry as an editorial manager with responsibility for compiling press packs and writing news briefs for UK broadcasters. During this period I co-founded two startups and was employed as a senior editor by one of the UK’s largest monitoring agencies.

Following the sale of the second startup I became a freelancer, and since then I’ve worked for a wide variety of clients including global brands, small businesses, charities and individuals. Successfully completed projects include book editing (both fiction and non-fiction), website content, mobile app content/promotion, blog articles, clinical research papers, business plans, CVs and cover letters.

I have a degree in English Language and Literature and I'm a member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders, having completed several of its well-respected training courses.

I love the process of getting to know new clients and helping them to express themselves in a way that will take their projects to the next level.
If you think I can help you in this way, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
